Dr Whoof: New BeginningsThe Doctor wiped his brow and sighed. He sat under the TARDIS console and looked around. All was quiet... save for the sound of the machinery. It was just him and his time traveling box once more since all his friends had moved on. "Aye, but that's not so bad is it old girl?" He asked softly as he patted his machine. In a way the TARDIS belonged to him, and he to her. They were always there for each other as they went about their adventures. Companions had gone and went while the Doctor grew older and wiser along with the TARDIS. "Yes... not so bad..."

"Everybody! Quiet!" Twilight Sparkle shouted over the din. It was early morning in Ponyville and all her friends had crowded into the library for an important announcement. Each of her friends stopped talking and looked expectantly at her, all except Sonic and Rainbow Dash that is.

"And THEN I did three triple corkscrew loops in the sky, BACKWARDS!" Rainbow Dash bragged loudly. "Beat that!"

"Oh yeah? I-" Sonic began before Twilight coughed. "Oh... uh, sorry. You were sayin' Twilight?"

It was a normal morning in Ponyville. The pegasi were busy rearranging clouds in the sky, preparing for the afternoon showers. On the ground the Earth ponies went about their daily business; meeting with friends, shopping or just relaxing at home. Every pony was enjoying himself or herself... except for one.

"Im so boooooored," Sonic moaned. He plopped down in the center of Twilight's library and huffed. "When does something fun happen?"

Sally ducked under the laser fire and rolled behind some nearby rubble. "Sonic, over here!" she shouted as she pulled out her portable computer NICOLE from her boot. "Nicole, any ideas on how to get past these Dark Egg Legionnaires? We're coming under heavy fire and I can't find Sonic anywhere." Just as the final words came out of her mouth a blue blur appeared beside her and cocked his head.

"Whaddya mean you can't find me? I've been around here the whole time!" Sonic replied as he ducked down beside Sally and began stretching his legs.

Someone took some artistic liberties with Sonic's inks. I didn't draw Sonic with wrinkles in his cuffs and socks. Not that I mind, but it's just somthing I noticed.

Also. W00T!

I had a lot of fun drawing this page.

Huh, how about that. You're right, though I'll admit it is a nice touch and I'm glad you're not upset.

I love the tilted fish-eye angle you went for here too, really sets the scene.

The fish eye perspective was just a "thing of the moment" type deal. I'd never really done one before. It looked cool when I was done, so I went with it. lol
