"Everybody! Quiet!" Twilight Sparkle shouted over the din. It was early morning in Ponyville and all her friends had crowded into the library for an important announcement. Each of her friends stopped talking and looked expectantly at her, all except Sonic and Rainbow Dash that is.

It was a normal morning in Ponyville. The pegasi were busy rearranging clouds in the sky, preparing for the afternoon showers. "Let me get zis straightened," Antoine said. "You, Eggman... Eggpony, whoever you are. You caused all of us to go to zis... pony wairld. Deed you want us to go here? Deed you cause us to turn into zese ponies?"

Here you guys go, page eight of Who Let the Hog Out! We apologize for it being late, but hopefully the art quality will make up for it. Is this a reference to the Mike Teitelbaum book? That had black-and-pink Sally, not the Blonde one, but as I recall it also had a scene in which Robotnik explained to his minions (who looked like perfectly ordinary Mobians except for swirly eyes) how they would be his slaves for life but they got a half hour to eat and a half hour to sleep because he was so generous and merciful. Or something.

It... was... Awesome!

Heh, no, nothing like that I'm afraid. It's actually a bit of a reference to Issue #1 of the original miniseries of Sonic the Hedgehog.

In the earliest of the early Sonic the Hedgehog issues Sally actually was blonde. Don't worry, we'll explain her color change at a later date.

Ha, sorry to scar and possibly scare you.

And it's a reference to the old 'so bad it's good' 90s song "I'm Too Sexy" by the group Right Said Fred. It's pretty much universally reviled.

I've not heard of it, but just the title and group name, ("Right Said Fred"?!!? XP), sounds like it would be pretty dang terrible.
